The last irradiation session and final consultation
On the last day of the course of radiotherapy, the doctor will hold a final consultation with you. At the same time, he will examine the area of irradiation and ask you about the presence of side effects from therapy. During the final consultation, your doctor will give you the necessary explanations as to what you should be paying attention in the near future. After this, the doctor will draw up a final conclusion, which you can transfer to your doctor at the place of residence or keep for yourself. Follow-up examination is necessary to assess the dynamics of an acute reaction approximately 6 weeks after the end of therapy.
